A large clarifier used to remove solids from water.

All products added to drinking (potable) water must be approved by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) and be used in accordance with their approval. Polymers are used to remove silt from surface waters. The polymers collapse the charge blanket around a dirt particle and allow the particles to grow into large particles for removal via clarification and filtration. One polymer or polymer type is not better than another. Disregard sales hype and conduct jar tests to determine which polymer and concentration is best for your application.
