- The following portion details generic technical information on each type of
system that Industrial Water Engineering provides chemicals and service to.
-
- COOLING WATER
- Cooling towers are used to conserve water. Cooling towers pose unique problems as
water is conserved through reuse.
-
- BOILER WATER
- Boilers come in a variety of sizes, shapes,
and applications. General guidelines are reviewed.
-
- CONDENSATE CHEMICALS
- A variety of amine products are used to reduce corrosion in steam and condensate
lines.
-
- CLOSED SYSTEM CHEMICALS
- Closed systems are used widely in industry to provide high corrosion and scale
control.
-
- MICROBIOLOGICAL
- Biocides are EPA registered for use in cooling tower, air-washers, and closed loop
systems. Legionnella control is a priority.
-
- CLEANERS
- Clean surfaces are required for good water treatment. Previously fouled equipment
should be cleaned prior to use. New systems should be cleaned
- to allow treatment chemicals to reach and
passivate metal surfaces.
-
- POTABLE CHEMICALS
- All potable chemicals are NSF approved for use in potable water. Polymers are
offered to remove solids from water. NSF approved corrosion inhibitors protect
service lines and reduce lead and copper contamination.
-
- WASTEWATER CHEMICALS
- A variety of polymers are used to remove solids from mining and waste water. We
offer a variety of emulsion breakers to separate oil from water.
