We promote safe workplace practices by ensuring our Certified Water Technologists are also Licensed Boiler Operators so they have the proper training to confidently handle all aspects of your system.
Using EPA registered biocides to control microbiological growth in a water treatment system is common; however, the key is knowing how to apply them correctly. Our team members involved in applying biocides are licensed Certified Pesticide Applicators and all of our biocides are registered with the EPA.
Our team members with ASSE 12080 certification are involved in risk assessment analysis, and the development of Water Management Plans (WMP) with regards to Legionella and other waterborne pathogens.

Bernadette is one of only a handful of women to become a nationally Certified Water Technologist (CWT) through the Association of Water Technologies (AWT). The designation reflects the highest level of competence in the water treatment industry. She is also the first woman to have served as the President of AWT which advocates for companies in the water treatment industry and gives members the tools and skills they need to give their clients the highest quality service. Bernadette holds an ASSE 12080 Certification for Legionella Water Safety and Management Personnel and has developed legionella response Water Management Plans (WMP's) throughout the southwest. She is a member of the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP International), American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) and the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). With her extensive certifications and industry involvement she leads our team by example.
